Physical Description

Ashenrock is a hulking mass of Tauren. Many times he is confused for a warrior as he seems to be built for power. He has black hair and black skin. Every move he makes seems to have an intention behind it. His eyes are deep and calculating...they seem to stare right through whatever he looks at. His nickname is "Rock" partly due to his name, but more due to the fact that he seems to be unmovable. For someone that spends most of his days outdoors he is always very clean and well groomed.

Personality

Ashenrock puts up a very tough front. He pretends to be outright dumb when he first meets people. After a few minutes of talking, however, its apparant that he is not only intelligent, but quite articulate as well. He does this to ward off those who would take advantage of him as he is much more generous than he should be at times. His loyalty is unyielding to those he cherishes, though he's often times put his neck on the line for complete strangers. He is overly-empathetic as he feels a lot of what others feel - a trait he was born with. While he spends much of his time to himself, he longs for true companionship. While he is very close to his Brothers, he always has felt alone while wandering the wilderness and neither Demonaro nor Jin'Tal could truly understand him.

History

Ashenrock was born on the plains of Mulgore with his brother Demonaro. His father is a simple farming hunter who still resides in Mulgore to this day. His mother was a kind Shaman woman who taught her boys the shamanistic arts very early on in life. While Demonaro grasped the elemental arts quite quickly, Ashenrock was drawn to the wild and seemed to share a bond with it. This is something that Naru Wildmane picked up on while visiting. After consulting with Hamuul Runetotem, Ashenrock was allowed to live with Nara and learn the of the Druid order. Nara realized quite quickly that Ashenrock shared an empathetic bond with most living organisms. A tree close to her home was struck by lightning during a storm and immediately Ashenrock winced in pain and cried out. After this episode, Nara sent him to learn of the wilds by himself...to live among those that he cared so much for. It was over the next few years, living among the creatures that Ashenrock would hone his skills, and learn to control his feelings.

Around the age of 35 Ashenrock was reunited with his brother and together they set forth on an epic journey of discovery and healing. Together they brought balance back to many lands and many homes. It was in the Hinterlands when they found their first real test. A brood of Revantusk young was captured by the High Elves. The brothers acted without being asked sprung to the aid of the trolls. Ashenrock at first tried a diplomatic approach and tried to seek audience with the elves of Quel'Danil. Unfortunately the elves decided to attack and together the brothers fought off the onslaught and were able to free the young trolls, returning them to their brood-master.
It was for this act that they were made honorary captains of the Revantusk tribe.

A grander reward was saving the life of a young rogue named Jin'Tal. He would become one of Ashenrock's fiercest friends and his life-long blood brother. The three would then continue their journey through the lands.

Ashenrock stumbled into the Blacktooth Grin and never looked back. He is an officer of their ranks and recently was able to secure their freedom by engaging the Naruu A'dal in diplomatic relations. Ashenrock takes his role seriously but isn't one to rule with an iron fist. His studies and patience have helped him lead quietly. He is a teacher at heart and enjoys guiding the youth of the Grin through their journeys.

Ashenrock was a feral druid up until he realized that the feral path was making him terribly aggressive and angry. He decided that he would follow a balanced path and use nature to strike his enemies quickly and forcefully.
