Stromgarde Keep

Stromgarde Keep is located in the Arathi Highlands. It is actively patrolled by the Grin's number one enemy, the Keepers of Stromgarde. The Keepers are charged with maintaining the Keep free of all Horde as well as clearing out members of the Syndicate who have taken up residence inside. The Grin has makes occasional raids into the Keep to strike fear into the hearts of the Alliance (see the Battle for Stromgarde Keep).
Geography, Layout, and Weaknesses
The Keep sits on a hill overlooking two lakes to the front and cliffs at the rear. The main road runs east to west in front of the Keep with a T-section turning south heading directly into the Keep. To the immediate north of the T-section is a large hill overlooking the road.
There are two possible entrances for Horde forces to use in battle. The first is the main entrance to the Keep which lies at the end of a long causeway. Lakes lie to either side of this causeway.
The second entrance is a crack in the wall which lies to the southeast of the main gates. This crack is usually guarded by the Keepers but it's proximity to Prince Trollbane's throneroom and the bridge overlooking the main entrance have been used effectively by Grin forces in the past.
As the Grin's Base
The Grin stormed and took Stromgarde Keep as their own in The Fall of Stromgarde. It was later trashed and left for the keepers during The Exodus of Stromgarde.
