Eydrana is a beautiful Elf with white blonde hair and big blue green eyes. Her visage is both glorious to behold and somewhat daunting. - Character History
Eydrana Lady Adurin, was born during the time after the culling of the spell weavers, right before the exile of the Highborn to Tirisfal. She was too young to remember the culling but she did remember the loss. She was too young to remember her mother being slaughtered as one of the Spell Weavers in question. She was too young to remember her father’s initial grief.
But she was not too young to remember the ship that carried them across the seas to Tirisfal and where Dath’Ramer became king. To this day the haunting of the seas still plays in her mind.
Eydrana was her father’s only child. Doted upon by Adurin, Eydrana grew to privelage and nobility. Her father helped to bring about order in the learning of Spell Weaving. He was one of the first to help build the rune guarding what ultimately surrounded Silvermoon City.
Eventually he was one of the first to go and teach the humans about mages, and like all of his trips, Eydrana was along for the ride. He settled in Dalaran durring the Second War, when the help of Lorderon was flowing in and when many needed it.
It was at this time Eydrana was studying her most powerful magics. She became involved with the Arcane and fell in love mostly with the cold chill in her bones flowing into ice. She would spend her time conjuring and playing with runes. She had a pretty sheltered exsistance. Her father was protective of her. He never allowed her to do anything or converse with anyone whom he considered lowly.
Yet she was always attracted to things that could be considered darker. One such attraction was a Shadow Priest named Vhares. The years had been a blanket of sorts. They have always been very good friends. Yet every decade or so, he would be gone for long absences. While he was gone she would buckle down and study her works and spells. Yet every now and again she would disapear for days sometimes weeks at a time, and when she returned he was around again.
Though her father disliked the shadow priest a great deal he never interfered with his daughters friendship. He would often say crude underhanded comments about the man, but it was little more then a sniping. One particular thing of note was if the Archanist would get his daughter engaged he would make a rather large production of it in front of the Shadow Priest. Somehow though, when they would crumble and fall through, his grand productions did not exonerate the daughter that was just stood up for whatever reason.
Her father like any nobleman tried to marry her of several times. Sometimes to humans, other times to elves, a couple of times to dwarves and once to a gnome. Yet for some reason Lady Eydrana’s weddings never came to be.
The most shocking reason behind one of them was the Human Lord that she nearly married, a great nephiew of King Strom. The man was only 25 and his bride was well past 3000. Yet he seemed enamored of the blond beauty despite her lack of response. He would shower her with gifts and flowers and she would never return even a nod of acknowledgment. More then once he had caught her whispering into the shadows in the garden and always she would be even more cold then her icy shell could be, when this human would interupt her. He did often interrupt her. Too often for her liking.
Three days before the wedding contract was to take place he was found in the stable with a sheep. He was busy showing this sheep what it was like to enjoy a full and vigorious intimacy, and Adurin himself who was gathering his horse for an evening ride caught him.
Though after the boy was thrown out of Dalaran and Adurin’s home screaming that he had no recollection of the events, Adurin had nearly given up. Yet Eydrana remained the sweetest and most respectful of daughters. She kept her routines up of studing and disapearing every few days now and again.
Around the time that Arthas was receiving his first teachings from Uther, Vhares disapeared again. She came back from wherever it was and continued her routines but with the plague and things occuring at such a rate she had no idea her routines were about to change forever.
The day when the sundering of Dalaran occurred thanks to Archimonde was beyond difficult. She as well as her father like many others hid away to be saved the death that likely would come if found. Then later when and the bubble surrounded the magical city, her father watched, as she would slam her palms against the bubble over and over again crying inconsolably while blood would pour from her icy skin because of the burns of the arcane cover.
Inside of the bubble, the talks changed. Sin’Dorei no longer recognized eachother as being people. Now her own people were fighting against themselves, some calling themselves High Elves, and those outside of the bubble calling themselves Blood Elves.
She hated it. Her own father became racist in front of her. He would declare at the dinner table that only the High Born were the true Elves. When it became apparent that Kael’thas had sided with Illidan the arguments got more heated. She was outraged. She could only watch in horror from Scrying crystals the addiction that her people, the Sin’Dorei were suffering with.
Every single night she would rush to the edge of the bubble and try to get free. It never happened, but she kept trying. She began to study everything about the Second War. Everything that she had lived through but had not participated in, became her obsession. She learned of Thrall, she learned of the fight of the Orcs. She learned about the Trolls but because of the limited resources she only barely knew about the Forsaken.
The words that Illidan was dead began to filter in. Then there was talk of the cold north, and of Malygos. She was overwhelmed with all of the information but the inablity to leave to find out what was going on.
Then came word of Kael’Thas getting away and Quel’Danas becoming invaded. That night she and her father had the most aggressive fight they ever had. It started as sniping at one another. Then it became yelling. Then there was throwing things. It ended when he cast an Ice Lance at her and she happened to fall backwards, her shoulder bleeding on the stone infront of her tiny apartment, while the blood stained her now white blonde hair.
She ran from him and hid in the sewers. The moment the bubble came up not that much longer afterwards she leapt from the drainage pipe and never looked back dispite her father’s screams for her to come back fading in the distance as the city began to disapear in the clouds. She did hear one thing clearly though, he yelled out “I HAVE NO DAUGHTER” something that would haunt her when she stepped into Dalaran much later.
Her first order of business was to meet the orcs. She wanted to be part of the Horde. She wanted to learn everything she could. At first she was considered a normal Blood Elf and was disregarded. But then she began to do the tasks of a lowly peon. It showed an effort. She moved to Mulgore next and worked on what the Tauren asked of her. She then went to Lorderon. Sylvanas had her intregued. They had a long discussion about what had happened to Eydrana, and Sylvanas gave her purpose.
Yet the Dark Lady also tipped her hand some to Eyd’s disapointment. She had said that negotiating with the Alliance was necessary to an ultimate peace. Eydrana was upset about this. She had it in her mind that murdering dwarves, gnomes, the new Draenei, the ever annoying humans and especiallay the meddlesome Night Elves, would make her feel better.
So she went to Outland. In Outland she came upon the Mag’har and spent so much time there that eventually Greatmother Geyah called her ‘Little Snowflake’, and once she even was smiled at briefly at by Garrosh Hellscream.
After wining their favor and at the behest of the Greatmother, Eydrana returned to Azeroth and now wanted the blood of the Alliance to seap into her skin. Yet, as she was getting a toehold in, the plague began to hit. Though the cure was found quickly, Lady Eydrana found that the leaders of the Horde were not focusing on the real war, the war with the Alliance. Instead they had forces on many fronts from Outland on, and now were talking about Northrend.
Eydrana was discouraged. She immediately wanted to do more. So she saught out for a sign and it came in a yell in Orgrimmar. “FEAR THE GRIN!!” was screamed over and over. When she saw where the noise came from, some members of a clan of the Horde called the Blacktooth Grin, were killing the Alliance who were trying to invade.
She found this so entreaguing and she set out to join them. She finally felt like she was at home somewhere. She was at peace, and she was going to prove herself to her new family. Why? To the Lady Eydrana, now stripped of her titles, her lands, and her own blood, she was home in the Blacktooth Grin. To the Blacktooth Grin, they had now acquired a sorceress with a grudge and almost 8000 years of talent. In all a win win situation.
As time went on she had managed to create a jewel with Bok'Theg that ultimatly cost her very life. For a year she was dead, and when she returned she had claimed the body of her former apprentice. Now, Eydrana was a banshee and a powerful one at that. What her true intentions were remained unknown but what is clear is she was not the girl she used to be.
